Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Warren addressed the staff collectively under the soaring roof of the indoor practice facility.
“I know there are a lot of emotions here for us today, and just seeing all of you here in this building and seeing the dream fulfilled, I know for myself, my family, for ownership, for leadership, it’s truly a humbling day,” Wilf said. “This is an incredible facility, and we’re proud of that, but this building is nothing without all of you, your hard work, your dedication and your professionalism.
“We are moving into a new house today. We’re going to make this house into an incredible and special home for generations to come,” Wilf added.
The Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center is illuminated by the Ragni Lighting GRIFF XL luminaire. This sleek, high performance luminaire not only provides the lighting for the parking lot of the full facility, it also illuminates the Vikings Parkway leading into the new Vikings Headquarters and Training facility. The GRIFF XL was selected for multiple reasons including quality, performance, the sleek design to keep with the Vikings theme, and the flexibility and adaptability of Ragni Lighting to provide the design created by The CONFLUENCE GROUP of Minneapolis lead by Terry Minarik. “Terry’s vision for the design was to carry forward the Viking’s Nordic theme by selecting a performance luminaire resembling the oar of a Viking ship,” stated Bill Provencher, President of Ragni Lighting in Denver, Colorado, “Terry maintained the Nordic design intent by including a nautically themed tie-back on the back of the pole, and our DECOLED beacon at the top of the pole, of course with a purple LED, to light the way into this new, amazing facility.”
