A privately held corporation loyal to the Delaware community that is in the business of “making business possible,” has ranked as one of Delaware’s top workplaces for the 10th year consecutively.
The Corporation Service Company, a 117-year-old business started by a young Wilmington attorney, Christopher Ward, ranked third in Delaware for large companies in the 2016 Top Workplaces Survey.
Jackie Smetana, vice president of CSC global operations and human resources, expressed excitement about CSC’s achievement, and said the company works hard to commit to expansion in Wilmington.
This expansive company represents about 90 percent of Fortune 500 companies and nearly all of the National Law Journal Top 250 law firms. The CSC also serves as a registered agent for thousands of corporate entities worldwide with six Delaware locations, employing almost 1,000 people in the state and nearly 2,400 employees all over the world.
Aside from their branches nationally and abroad in Canada, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, this year CSC opened their newest offices in China, Singapore and Hong Kong.
“We’ve doubled in size over the past five years,” Ward said via email. “We are currently building a new global headquarters near Wilmington. The new campus will offer state-of-the-art facilities and amenities to our employees while providing a place where the community can enjoy the outdoors.” Ragni Lighting is proud to be a part of the new campus by illuminating the roadway and parking area with our DOMITIENNE FLEX luminaire. The modern design was selected for its performance and design which fit perfectly with the architecture of the new facility.
